At this very moment, there is an entire army of engineers running a gamut of pre-flight tests on hundreds of thousands of airliners sitting at the gates of airports all around the world. Data is downloaded and analysed, inspections are taking place and preventive maintenance is done to make sure that plane is ready for its next flight.

Halfway across that same airport in the dispatch lounge, a pilot is filling out a self-declaration questionnaire, completing which, certifies him or her fit to carry out that flight.

We see this disparity and that’s why we’ve created Soteria. With the use of wearables and ultra-portable ECGs, we can now get real-time analysis of not only the aircraft’s readiness, but also that of the pilot. 

We see a future where we know as much about our pilots as we do our planes.
